The crew visited Vino Volo Wine Bar and Cafe in downtown Bethesda tonight. The spot has only been open for about 2 months, and for a Friday night the crowd was a bit sparse. Their loss! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the wine was pouring freely. Ok, not freely. There is a wide variety to choose from, from the budget selections ($8 per glass) to the more high brow stuff ($16 for a nice desert wine). To accompany my wine flight, tonights order was the Tuscan Pasta with sausage. Ummm, that was cheezy, toothy pasta and spiced sausage goodness for sure. Stop by, this spot is a keeper and worth a visit.
